I sit in one of the many food courts at Hong Kong International Airport and try to regain some strength from a couple of cramped and long flights (YVR to SFO to HKG). And I'm not even done yet. I have approximately 30 minutes until I have to board my plane to Manila. And according to the handy map attached to my boarding pass, it will take 15 minutes to walk to my gate from where I am. They think of everything. They think of Popeyes.
Better get a move on now. Who knows what other distractions I will encounter as I make the 15 minute trek through this mall/airport. A new cell phone? A cute purse? Hello Kitty luggage? Another Popeyes?
I can almost smell the stale smoggy Filipino air now...
